- Nuggets' wingman J.R. Smith has reportedly been discussing the option of taking his talents to China next season. Should he decide to make the move, he would not be able to opt out of the Chinese contract if the NBA resolves their lockout.
- Colorado State women have added Courtney Lisowski to their upcoming recruiting class. Lisowski, a 6 foot guard/forward, currently plays for Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, California.
- Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports takes a look at Andre Miller's return to Denver.
- While the CSU football will have their hands full with Northern Colorado this weekend, the hoops program will be just as busy. The Rams will be hosting 3 recruits over the weekend with hopes for luring the young hoopsters to Fort Collins. Jermaine Morgan and Gavin Thurman, both 3-star prospects on Rivals.com, as well as Jordan Mason are the three players who will be visiting.
- Western State's men's Head Coach Mike Moskowitz announced the final pieces to the Mounaineers 2011 recruiting class. The class will be filled out with Dushon Carter, Kario Rochford and Charles Joseph.
- Meanwhile, Adams State has had a complete roster overhaul under 2nd year coach Louis Wilson. The Grizzlies have announced the addition of nine new players to their team.
