- The Colorado Kings, of the American Basketball Association, announced on its facebook page that Nuggets guard Andre Miller will work out with the team during the NBA lockout. Could Miller end up joining the Kings if the lockout drags on?
- Colorado State will have open walk-on tryouts Oct. 17. Any interested and enrolled CSU student should email director of basketball operations, Jayden Olson, at jayden.olson@colostate.edu.
- The Denver Stiffs preview the Nuggets 2011-12 season (if there is a season).
- Negotiations are not going well between the NBA owners and player’s union. The entire preseason has been cancelled. If an agreement isn’t reached before Monday, the first two weeks of the regular season will also be called off.
