- The University of Northern Colorado men’s squad looks to rebound tonight from its season opening loss against New Mexico State. The Bears play Wyoming at 7 p.m. tonight in Laramie.
- The Denver Pioneers are off to a 2-0 start after beating Texas A&M-Corpus Christi last night. Here is the blog from the road trip.
- The Lady Pioneers blasted Wyoming 74-49 last night. Kaetlyn Murdoch had a career-high 28 points. If you haven't caught on to MurdochMania yet, you need to.
- Colorado State throttled Southern Methodist last night in the opening round of the preseason NIT. The victory set up a game against the Stanford Cardinal at 9 p.m. tonight in Palo Alto, Calif. If the Rams win, they’ll head to Madison Square Garden in New York for the semifinals.
- The NBA players rejected the owners’ latest proposal, and the player’s union is moving to decertify…Nuggets guard Ty Lawson was not pleased.
