- It was a busy day for the Denver Nuggets: They resigned Nene to a five-year $67 million dollar deal. They also acquired Corey Brewer and Rudy Fernandez from the Dallas Mavericks for a future second round pick….And, the front office is making progress with Arron Afflalo.
- Northern Colorado and Denver tip-off at 7 p.m. tonight at Butler-Hancock Sports Pavilion in Greeley. It is a strong mid-major matchup and a solid early test for both programs. Nuggets announcers, Chris Marlowe and Scott Hastings, will call the game.
- Colorado high school teams are hitting the road for holiday tournaments.
- The Highlands Ranch High School girl's team suffered through a rare loss last night at the hand of Legacy. Kailey Edwards, who has committed to DU for next season, led the Lightning with 28 points on their way to a 68-51 victory over the Falcons.
- The DU women’s team takes on Big-10 power Minnesota tonight.
- The CU men’s hoops squad is volunteering with Share-A-Gift. The non-profits Share-A-Gift has focused on holiday toy giving and family assistance since 1972.
